Pastor's Note

As I write this, I am in awe of what the Lord has done for Lifehouse. In less than 2 years God has done exceedingly abundantly above all we could ever ask or think. We first started as a Bible study in our home in October, 2008, with 4 people who just had a desire to be connected to one another and to hear from God on what He wanted us to do. Today, Lifehouse is a church that is growing and thriving in the Midland, Texas community. Through this amazing journey I have learned that if the body of Christ will unite, if we will walk in love, and choose to forgive, then we will open up the doors for God to pour out His blessings.

Lifehouse has truly experienced His blessings. Over the last 2 years God has taken us from our home, to a store front, and now to our very own place. We are so proud to announce that Lifehouse has just purchased the Crestview Baptist Church and Activities Center. What we have seen the Lord do in the last few months is amazing and we are grateful! We understand that this is not our resting place, but will be a great place for us to build a strong foundation. With our eyes on Jesus, He will take us to higher heights.

I am reminded of King Jehoshaphat who, when the enemy was barreling down on him, makes this statement in II Chronicles 20:12 "...we do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you". Have you ever been in a place where you were not sure what to do? I am here to tell you it is ok not to have all the answers. We must transfer our trust and put our eyes on Him. Lifehouse is a perfect example of a people who do not have all the answers, all the time, but who keep looking to God for direction knowing He will lead us to the answer.

We invite you to be a part of our family. We are not perfect by any means, but we do truly hunger and thirst for an outpouring of His Spirit in our lives. We find in Matthew 5:13-20 that there is a job to do. We are to let our light shine, so men may see our good works, and glorify our Father in Heaven. When we do our part, God will do His, and there is nothing that can keep us from living an overcoming life, and helping our friends, neighbors, and co-workers do the same.

Come see us on Sundays at 10:30 am, and Wednesdays at 7:00 pm. We provide classes for infants through Elementary ages on Sundays and Wednesdays.
