Your Turn to Speak

Tuesday night I talked to the men about 1 Timothy 6:11-12 which says “But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.”

The point of focus in this passage of scripture is to take hold of eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession. We are to fight the good fight of faith!  A good fight is one we win and we win our fight of faith with our words.

Luke 6:45 (NIV) says “A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.”

Today I want to encourage each and everyone of you to speak, declare, and proclaim the Word of God. Today, my confession is, “greater is he that is in me then he that is in the world!” I have repeated this over and over and over, and I can sense the atmosphere of my life changing as my mind is focused on God’s promises.

I am speaking to my mountain! Are you? Find a scripture that you can repeat and say OUT LOUD!  As you speak these words, the power of God is released in the spirit realm. Allow the Word of God to come alive in you by maintaining a good confession. (See Mark 11:23-24)

There may be trouble in your marriage - maintain a good confession. There may be trouble with your kids - maintain a good confession. You may have trouble on your job - maintain a good confession. In everything you do make sure your words are lining up with the word of God. The word of God never fail you!
