Loving God, or loving others for that matter, shouldn’t be something that is dreadful. There is joy in love! As we receive the fullness of God’s love, we will begin to overflow in the Life comes from Him.
Fruit is the result of overflowing life. Have you ever seen a tree eat its own fruit? No. A tree bears fruit, then someone, or something, harvests that fruit in order to sustain life in another. An un-harvested tree results in rotten fruit. The purpose for you and I to receive the Fruit of the Spirit is to be a blessing to others; to help sustain the life-giving anointing of God to those around us.
Are you bearing fruit? This is a good time to examine your love walk. Ask God to reveal to you the fruit of love in your life. Ask Him to give you opportunities to share His love in order to give Life to others.
